The relationship we are in for life, is the one with ourselves. Why not spend some time and care on us?
I utilize an eclectic, person-centered approach rooted in attachment, intersectionality, existentialism, and Polyvagal theories.
Trauma-informed, social justice, LGBTQIA2+, neurotypes, all identities-affirming work are fundamental to my practice. It is necessary to consider systems and the environments people are interacting with everyday, and how this influences our pain and has played a role in our journey.
I believe shifts occur when we identify our what and our why. Approaching treatment from a symptom management and root cause lens, fosters cycle-breaking, long-lasting holistic change.
I will be someone who supports you, challenges you, celebrates alongside you, and maybe drops the occasional swear-word...or two.
I deeply enjoy working with teens and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, value-shifts, identity development, and systems friction.
Healing can look like many different things.
Incorporating imagination into the therapeutic process allows us to access various pathways to processing. Movement, color, the physical and mental process of creating activates and allows us to engage with our nervous system, in a safe and perhaps revolutionary way.
Using various modalities encourages exploration and play - a gateway we are systemically disconnected from as we grow and age.
